FUEL PRICES UNLIKELY TO FALL

11 Jan

The price of fuel in Swaziland is unlikely to fall despite historic lows in global crude oil prices. Swaziland economist Christopher Fakudze says the continued fall of the Rand – Dollar exchange will continue to put pressure on the price of fuel.

Fakudze, an economic and lecturer at the University of Swaziland predicted that the exhange rate which was 12 rand to the dollar just six month ago, is likely to test 20 rands to the dollar by year end.
